Friar Manuel Maïcas, o.p., from the Dominican convent of Evry-sur-Seine, has put together a photographic exhibition which he has entitled “Jerusalem three times holy”, in an ecumenical perspective, bringing together the Jewish, Muslim and Christian architectural heritage of Jerusalem.
From the archives of the Ecole Biblique’s photo library, he borrowed 27 prints to present them in the private high school where he provides chaplaincy, in Athis-Mons. The exhibition took place from 7 to 19 February this year, with an opening in the presence of municipal authorities and the Jewish, Muslim and Christian communities.
A lively way to raise awareness among high school students about open-mindedness and the importance of respecting differences and religions.
