In the evening of October 7th 2024, friar Olivier Poquillon, o.p., Director of the École biblique et archéologique française, met Jean-Noël Barrot, French Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, during his stay in Jerusalem.
The visit was much appreciated as communities live in difficult times. In Gaza as well as Jerusalem, France has continuously supported the research and study activities of the ÉBAF for decades.
