Twice a month, the School offers a cultural outing to an archaeological site for diplomats, NGO staff, volunteers or simply friends of the School. These outings, guided by Fr. Dominique-Marie Cabaret are very much appreciated, especially when the sites are more difficult to access, such as the Golan Heights or Hebron.
On Saturday, June 12, about sixty people took part in the outing to Hebron, with the main attraction being, of course, a visit to the Tomb of the Patriarchs. A splendid monument, already studied in 1923 by Fr. Vincent, of the École Biblique. We benefited from the local welcome of the members of the France-Hebron Association, who offered us both guides to visit the old city and the coolness of their patio for the midday picnic break.
